This page explains how the Dosea beta reservation deposit works. The deposit is a fully refundable reservation — not a final purchase, and not a preorder with a guaranteed delivery date.
What the deposit is
The $20 deposit reserves your place in line for an early Dosea beta unit. It is a refundable customer deposit held against a future order — it is not payment for a completed sale, and placing it does not guarantee a delivery date.
Fully refundable before shipment
You can request a full refund of your deposit at any time before your beta unit ships — no questions asked. Once requested, refunds are issued back to your original payment method through Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Credited toward your purchase
If you choose to continue, the full $20 is credited toward your final purchase price. You never pay the deposit on top of the unit price — it simply comes off the total.
Beta timeline
We do not promise a specific delivery date. The expected beta timeline will be announced after engineering validation. Your deposit stays fully refundable for the entire time leading up to shipment.
How your deposit is held
Until your unit ships, your payment is treated as a customer deposit, not earned revenue. It becomes part of a completed order only when you confirm your purchase and your unit ships. If you request a refund before then, it is returned in full.
How to request a refund
Email us at support@dosea.app from the address you used at checkout, and we'll process your refund. You can also reply to your Stripe receipt. There is no deadline and no fee to cancel before shipment.
